Combivent Respimat Inhaler is a combination medication used to manage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains:

  • Ipratropium bromide (20 mcg): An anticholinergic agent that helps to open up the airways by blocking certain nerve signals.
  • Albuterol (100 mcg): A beta-agonist that relaxes the muscles around the airways and helps to increase airflow.

The medication is delivered via a Respimat inhaler, which is designed to provide a fine mist for inhalation. It is typically used 4 times daily, with each dose consisting of 2 puffs. Regular use helps control and prevent symptoms of COPD, such as wheezing and shortness of breath.
