Product Details

Auro-Sitagliptin 100mg is a medication used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. Sitagliptin, the active ingredient, belongs to a class of drugs known as DPP-4 inhibitors. It works by enhancing the body’s natural ability to lower blood sugar by increasing the levels of incretin hormones. These hormones help stimulate insulin release and reduce glucose production in the liver.

Sitagliptin is typically used in combination with diet and exercise to improve glycemic control. It is not intended for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. The 100mg dose is usually taken once daily, with or without food. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels and kidney function is recommended during treatment.
