Product Details

Auro-Risedronate 35mg is an oral medication used primarily for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and in men. It belongs to a class of drugs called bisphosphonates, which work by inhibiting the activity of osteoclasts, the cells responsible for bone resorption. This action helps to increase bone density and reduce the risk of fractures.

Uses of Auro-Risedronate 35mg:

  • Osteoporosis Treatment: Helps increase bone density and reduce the risk of fractures in patients with osteoporosis.
  • Fracture Prevention: Used to prevent bone loss and fractures in postmenopausal women and men with low bone density.
  • Paget’s Disease: Occasionally used to manage Paget's disease of bone, which is characterized by abnormal bone growth.

Patients should take Auro-Risedronate on an empty stomach, ideally first thing in the morning, with a full glass of water, and remain upright for at least 30 minutes to enhance absorption and minimize potential gastrointestinal side effects. Regular monitoring of bone density and adherence to dosing instructions are important for maximizing benefits and minimizing risks.
