Auro-Olmesartan 20mg contains olmesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to:

  • Treat Hypertension: Help lower high blood pressure, which can reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems.
  • Manage Heart Failure: Sometimes used in combination with other medications to manage symptoms of heart failure.

Olmesartan works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. This helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
