Auro-Eletriptan 40mg contains eletriptan, a medication used to treat acute migraine attacks. It is a member of the triptan class, which specifically targets migraines. Eletriptan works by:

  • Constraining Blood Vessels: It acts on serotonin receptors in the brain to narrow dilated blood vessels that contribute to the migraine process.

The typical dose is 40mg taken at the onset of a migraine. If needed, a second dose can be taken after 2 hours, but no more than two doses should be used in a 24-hour period.
