Alomide Sol 0.1% is an ophthalmic (eye) solution containing the active ingredient lodoxamide tromethamine at a concentration of 0.1%. It is used to treat allergic eye conditions, such as vernal keratoconjunctivitis and other forms of allergic conjunctivitis. Lodoxamide works by inhibiting the release of substances in the body that cause allergic reactions, particularly in the eyes, helping to reduce symptoms like itching, redness, and swelling.

This eye drop is typically prescribed to be used several times a day, as directed by a healthcare provider, to control allergic symptoms and protect the eyes from further irritation.
